This CPD for KS1 and KS2 teachers will provide opportunities to learn about approaches to the teaching of key areas of mathematics

Who is it suitable for?
Suitable for all primary teachers.
Outcomes
Teachers will develop their subject knowledge in mathematics with improved understanding of how to link this with appropriate pedagogy. This will support children’s progress and attainment in mathematics.
Programme
This whole-school training for KS1 and KS2 teachers will provide opportunities to learn about approaches to the teaching of key areas of number, with a focus on multiplication and division. Each session considers how to embed ‘using and applying’ approaches to secure learning. In addition, there are separate sessions on problem solving, mathematical reasoning and shape and space.
