Suitable for all primary teachers.
What will you learn?
Throughout this professional development opportunity, teachers’ literacy planning will draw on the strategies and pedagogies explored. The use of guided writing to raise the attainment of targeted pupils, whose progress will be closely tracked, will be a key element. As the use of film is an intrinsic part of the course, schools will be encouraged to set up a film club!
What will it cover?
This bespoke training opportunity uses a combination of wholeschool INSET, interim tasks and in-school consultant support to assist teachers with literacy planning that exploits creative and engaging strategies for all.
