Overview

The new inspection framework makes a judgement about ‘the effectiveness of leadership and management in communicating ambitions and driving improvement’.  This one day in-school training programme will develop the inspection skills of your senior leaders and provide you with an evaluation of your school’s effectiveness. The training will give you and your senior leaders the opportunity to work with an experienced lead inspector to model inspection skills. Drawing on your last inspection report, RAISEonline, and SEF, prior to the consultancy your consultant will draft a short summary on the main areas of focus for the review. During the consultancy the Senior Leadership Team will then take on the role of an inspector guided by the consultant.

Outcomes

  • Perfect self-evaluation skills.
  • Be better prepared and have more active participants in your next inspection.
  • Gain a robust external evaluation of safeguarding for the headteacher and governors.
  • Improve your schools self-evaluation form in light of the findings.
  • Gain insight into the evidence required to underpin its evaluation of its effectiveness.
