Overview

A half or full day programme which offers advice and case studies on how to write good success criteria using child friendly vocabulary. It also provides practical suggestions of real life classroom activities which will enable pupils to have ownership of their learning (and targets).

Outcomes

  • Understand the difference between national standards and learning objectives and be able to use both appropriately.
  • Write learner-friendly objectives.
  • Generate success criteria with pupils.
  • Know how and when to share learning objectives and success criteria.
  • Make judgements on pupils’ progress.
