Overview
This one day consultancy/review will involve a visit to your school by an experienced consultant to carry out a detailed evaluation of your current safeguarding procedures. Following the safeguarding review, the consultant will provide feedback to enable you to adopt a more robust approach to safeguarding.
Outcomes
- Guided support to help you ensure that your school meets the requirements for safeguarding arrangements.
- Evaluate processes with regard to assessing attendance patterns and procedures.
- Assess relevant safeguarding school policies, guidance and procedures.
- Evaluate the quality of recording, by reviewing at least one case file of a pupil where there have been child protection concerns.
- Evaluate recruitment procedures and the single central record of recruitment and vetting checks.
- Comprehensive feedback at the end of the review.
- A full written report of the key findings highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
