Product Code: ICT01 | This specialist course is held at our City Learning Centre. Our specialist courses cover all aspects of training required to support schools’ continuing improvement and management.
Course duration Half day - 1:30pm - 4:30pm Who is the course suitable for? People responsible for coordinating and leading E-safety in schools. Course overview This comprehensive half day course will introduce the key E-safety issues facing the whole school community and provide practical resources to develop E-safety policy and acceptable use agreements. It will also give an overview of the educational online resources available including CEOP, Childnet and Teachtoday. Outcomes By the end of this course participants will:
- Have an understanding of the key E-safety issues facing school communities.
- Have an understanding of the important organisations supporting E-safety, including CEOP, Childnet and Teachtoday.
- Have the tools and resources needed to audit existing practice in their own school, and develop effective policy (Including AUPs) and education programmes for staff, parents and pupils.
