What will you learn?
This course will enable you to understand the Pupil Premium and its future role in Schools funding.
The course will look at the history surrounding funding in relation to the pupil premium and the Governments future objectives, including: accountability of schools in relation to groups of pupils at risk of underperformance, explanation of deprivation funding in relation to specific pupil groups and explanation, advice on monitoring and online reporting requirements.
What will it cover?
- Understanding of the specific groups performance in individual schools.
- Strategies for ensuring progression for underperforming groups.
- Linking pupil premium resources to outcomes.
