Overview

This one day Early Years training programme will help your staff to improve existing partnership working and enable you to cascade training in partnership with parents. The training will provide your school with the tools and materials to extend and refine your setting’s implementation of EYFS requirements. As a result, you will feel well-informed and confident about how to engage parents more fully as partners in their children’s learning. A toolkit, Partnership with Parents in the Early Years Foundation Stage, is provided as part of this course.

Outcomes

  • Increase awareness of EYFS requirements and key research findings behind the push for improved partnership with parents.
  • Understand the many facets of partnership working and practical ways of meeting the needs of different parents.
  • Evaluate your partnership working for Ofsted and how to provide evidence for your SEF.
