Overview
This two day advanced training programme will enable you as a school leader to manage CPD effectively in your school and/or as a local authority CPD leader deliver efficient training effectively to your schools. You will look at the practicalities of being an effective trainer and develop techniques required to deliver high quality training. The course includes an assessment leading to Cambridge Education accreditation and the opportunity to provide training to other schools on behalf of Cambridge Education in the future. This is particularly effective training for Local Authorities, consortium and cluster groups.
Outcomes
- Identify different learning processes / styles and differentiate CPD activities to meet the needs of all your school and teaching staff.
- Use INSET materials and visual aids to make training fun and interactive.
- Develop coaching and mentoring to continue CPD support.
- Understand more of cultural barriers in CPD leadership programmes.
- Strengthen links between CPD, performance management and school improvement planning and remove barriers to implementation.
