What do we mean by good governance? How do governors know what difference their contribution makes to outcomes for pupils and how should they find out?
What will it cover?
This course asks: How should governance impact on the school development plan, and on school self evaluation? What should governors do to develop this role more effectively? These and other questions will be discussed, with the opportunity to do some action planning.
