Overview
The new arrangements for school inspection place emphasis on the quality of the Self-Evaluation Form. With the frequency of your inspection being partly determined by the robustness of your SEF, it’s more important than ever to get it right. This half day / full day consultancy will help you to use the new Ofsted evaluation criteria to draft your evaluation of the quality of leadership and management, provision and their impact on outcomes for pupils in the SEF. The consultancy will give confidence to headteachers and governors that the SEF presents the school honestly and in its best light.
Outcomes
- Make judgements that are guided by the Inspection Framework criteria.
- See why a judgement was chosen within each area.
- Establish where the evidence can be sought to support the assertions made.
- Ensure that internal grading is consistent so that related judgements ‘add up’.
- Demonstrate how the findings of the last inspection report have been built upon.
