What will it cover?

  • Consider the value and relevance of food activities in the curriculum.
  • Increase confidence and competence in teaching about cooking, food and nutrition.
  • Understand how to increase pupils’ knowledge of diet, nutrition, healthy eating, food hygiene and safety.
  • Explore the development and progression of practical skills to cover the core food competences in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
