Who is the course suitable for? Experienced and new leaders, headteachers, deputy and assistant headteachers, heads of department and subject leaders and those with a responsibility for judging standards and achievement through lesson observations. Course overview Developed by experienced inspectors, Effective Classroom Observation is a five day programme which includes three tutor led days with one or two days of distance learning with peer mentors and an assessed lesson observation. Effective Classroom Observation will provide you with the confidence and skills to observe lessons, analyse pupils’ and make secure judgements. Outcomes - A clearer understanding of what Ofsted inspectors look for during inspections.
