Product overview
The extended resource pack includes DVDs of lessons plus lesson plans and associated resources as well as pupils’ work and a critique of each lesson. These resources will enable your staff to observe and evaluate lessons and, using a coaching approach, use the outcomes to improve their practice.
Each resource pack:
- demonstrates and analyses the qualities of good teaching that lead to successful learning in lessons
- provides example observations for moderation
- links judgements to the Ofsted grades
- includes all training activities and materials needed for effective professional development.
Product content
In each pack there are activities responsible for staff training, to provide focused, targeted inputs tailored to meet your needs.
These include:
- demonstrating and measuring progress
- capturing and using pupil perceptions about learning
- ensuring that questioning involves all pupils
- establishing and catering for individual needs
- encouraging peer and self-assessment
- engaging and motivating students through data analysis
- how to observe and record evidence effectively to support individual and group staff development
