Who is it suitable for?

Suitable for primary headteachers, senior leaders, curriculum and subject teachers. The course is for all those interested in developing an interdisciplinary approach to learning and teaching as a motivational way to improve achievement in their classrooms and schools.

  • How to put the fun back into teaching and learning and make this learning relevant, coherent and challenging
  • Practical ways to contribute to Ofsted’s revised criteria

  • A rationale of cross-curricular working and its place in inspiring children of all abilities to give their best
  • An introduction to four exciting topics designed to motivate all learners
  • Clips from various topics which will illustrate what ‘Joyning’ the learning looks like, sounds like and feels like from Foundation to Yr 6, which will show how children take responsibility for their own learning
  • An exploration of the ‘Joyning’ the Learning: creative, cross-curricular toolkit - exciting materials to take back to school to enhance literacy
