Everyone who works with pupils and has an interest in improving the quality of teaching and learning. Whether you are a headteacher, teaching assistant or learning mentor, this course is for you.

- What is meant by effective learning and teaching using the new 2012 Ofsted criteria
- How to plan lessons effectively to make learning active and personalised, meeting the needs of all pupils
- How to work collaboratively with a variety of colleagues to empower them in developing their pedagogy so that their pupils achieve their full potential

- Exploration of the Ofsted criteria for evaluating teaching and using these to inform effective lesson planning, leading to high impact on learning
